I am back with an another casual look on a short trip like Shimla. The first part of the story was about cold shoulder tops. In this post, the focus is long shrugs which can give a complete makeover to an otherwise simple outfit.
I styled my shrug for a Shimla hill station too. Be it casual or formal, shrugs can be pulled off easily. Shrugs are available in various designs such as cape-style, short & long style, high-low shrugs, tassel shrugs with different patterns.
Currently, long shrugs are popular among all fashionistas. They are available in lace, cotton, crochet, and have become a must-have wardrobe staple. Shrugs work as a wonderful coverup for most of your outfits. If you want to add effortless zing to an outfit, put on a trendy shrug and you’re all set.
How I Styled It In Shimla
It was a sunny day with a cool breeze in the afternoon in Shimla. I wore a blue and white striped shrug over my regular top and jeggings and see how it completely changed my entire look. It was perfect for the sunny weather. I completed my look by wearing gladiator flats, a statement neckpiece, and reflectors. My makeup included a contrast colour lip shade from colorbar & eyeshadow as per my outfit.
